About StockCram

If you've ever opened an investing article and bounced off within five minutes, you're the reason this site exists.

Free stock market education for people who've never bought a stock. Plain English, real examples, and no pressure to buy anything.

Our Story

StockCram started with a simple observation: most finance content is written by people who already get it, for people who mostly already get it. “Beginner” articles skip what a stock actually is. “Intermediate” articles assume you already know the Greeks. “Advanced” content is usually marketing for a trading platform.

Our founder, Sean Sha, spent years bouncing off that wall before realizing the problem wasn't finance — it was how finance was being explained. So he started writing things down. That's what StockCram is now: the documentation he wishes had existed when he was the one stuck.

Every lesson, guide, and market note gets written with one question in mind: “Would this make sense to someone who has never bought a stock?”

Our content is reviewed against authoritative sources including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA, and the Federal Reserve for accuracy. Every guide includes source references.

Writing

Drafted with AI assistance and shaped by human judgment. We use technology to scale quality, not to replace thought.

3
