Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Who StockCram is for
StockCram is a general-audience educational website about how markets work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts are for people aged 16 and over (Terms of Use, section 11).
Using StockCram without an account
The free tools, lessons and Market Rewind games work without an account. Without an account, a player's runs are not saved on our servers, and the games ask for no name or email. The run in progress, a count of plays and a record of the eras played stay in the player's own browser. We receive what any website receives automatically, plus usage events through Google Analytics, such as the moment a player reached and the final score. Both are described in our Privacy Policy. Game pages carry no ads or affiliate links.
Schools and teachers
Teachers of grades 9 to 12 are welcome to use Market Rewind and its lesson plans in class. Students do not need an account, and students under 16 should not create one. Our own first-visit cookie records the page a visitor landed on, any campaign tags, and the address of the site they came from (the site only, not its page), so a link from a school learning system does not leave a course or class identifier in it.
If a child under 13 has given us information
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we delete it. If you believe this has happened, for example through an account or a message to us, email support@stockcram.com.
